Regatta photos & Videos

The Annual Old Leigh Regatta is a charity event organised by the three Scout/Venture groups based in the Old Town, who benefit from your generous support.  This year’s special chosen charity to also benefit is  H.A.R.P. (Homeless Action Resource Project).

 

Old Leigh High Street closes on these two days to allow all the side shows,  entertainment, competitions, craft stalls and water events.

 

There is live music for all tastes - this year bands performing are:

 

Saturday Arena:          Various during day organised by Si Gentry

Saturday Peter Boat:  Vacant Touch

Sunday Arena:             Diaz

Sunday Peter Boat:      Heartbeat

 

The Salvation Army  are to hold an outdoor service on Victoria Wharf at 10.30 on Sunday, weather permitting.  The band will then march back along the High Street at 11.45.

Programmes also can be purchased on the three weekends prior to the

Regatta and on the Regatta weekend in the Old Town.  

Football teams need to register on the beach 15 minutes before start of matches
