Message from 2009 Regatta Committee
A very big thank you to everyone who took part in this year's Regatta. Whether you were helping or just visiting. It wouldn't be the success it is without you. Of course, having fabulous weather for 2 days does help as well.

The annual Old Leigh Regatta is a charity event organised by the three Scout/Venture groups based in the Old Town, who benefit from your generous support. This year's additional charity to benfit was the Samaritans.
Old Leigh High Street closes on these two days to allow all the entertainment, competitions, side shows, craft stalls and water events.There is live music for all tastes with various bands playing all weekend on different stages. This year's events were as follows:

Diaz - A local 9 piece band - Funky Soul & Classic Disco music
Heartbeat - Popular local band playing a mix of music

Cockleshell Clog Morris Dancers - local formed in 1986
